Good day! I am a contest addict, and have been for many years now. I started winning at the age of 9 with tickets to see Michael Jackson’s Thriller tour from a Mac’s Milk store. 27 years later I have won 9 trips, several shopping sprees, countless event tickets, hotel stays, electronics, gift cards, and tons of small prizes like toys, movies, and games. My biggest win so far was a Dodge Dakota pickup truck which I won from the Toronto Molson Indy in 2003. I always have goals for winning. Last summer I declared it the summer of free passes. I went on to win passes to Ontario Place, Ontario Science Centre, Toronto Zoo, African Lion Safari, Canada’s Wonderland, and a trip for 4 to Walt Disney World.
So, how do I win? Well, I enter a lot of contests that are mainly local. I have had great success with radio stations and newspapers. I also visit several websites that list contests. I only spend about ½ hour a day entering, and I only enter for prizes that I really want.
I setup this blog so I can put up some of my links to contests and contest sites. Feel free to use them of course. I just find this a fun hobby with great benefits.
My next goal is to win a kitchen makeover. Or, a new house with a nice kitchen already there.
